Centre Lions Foresight Committee

The Centre Lions Foresight Committee is a consortium of all the Lions Clubs, our one Lioness Club and our two Leo Clubs in Centre County (Region IV). Founded in October 1979. Foresight serves those areas in Centre County where there is no Lions club and gives assistance to the Lions Clubs in Region IV. When a club may have a project that is too large or too expensive for one club, they provide the service needed. The committee also, as most Lions do, collects used eyeglasses. In the 2002-03 Lions year the Centre Foresight Committee collected 5,000 pairs of used eyeglasses and 1,500 used eyeglasses cases. These eyeglasses and eyeglasses cases were processed for shipment to people in Central America.

The committee meets the second Saturday of each month, September through May, at Sunset West, just east of Pleasant Gap on Rt. 26 at 8:30 AM for a dutch treat breakfast and discussion of where the Committee can help next.
